Donate to the Atlanta Pops!

The Atlanta Pops Orchestra believes in the artistic and cultural value of diverse popular music styles.

After completing some of the most ambitious concert seasons of its 80 year history, which brought the sounds of Atlanta’s best popular music to concert venues in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and Indiana over the last ten years, the Atlanta Pops Orchestra is returning for an equally exciting 2025-2026 season. Recent guest artists and collaborators have included Atlanta Opera Tenor Timothy Miller, Broadway star Sutton Foster, Grammy® Award-winning rapper T.I., Zac Brown Band founding member John Driskell Hopkins, Grammy® nominated folk singer Gregory Alan Isakov, former Celtic Woman star Chloë Agnew, multiple Grammy® Award-winning world music superstar Angélique Kidjo, Styx founding member Dennis DeYoung, blues and gospel artist Oleta Adams, award-winning bluegrass quintet Balsam Range, and more – all showcasing the diverse, eclectic programming and virtuosity of the world-renowned Atlanta Pops Orchestra.

Now is your chance to become part of the excitement by becoming a sponsor of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. “How would my donation help?”

Great question! Despite a history dating back 80 years, the unique journey of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra has led to a business model that is both way behind the times and light years ahead. We have no brick and mortar office, no home performance venue, and no full time staff to support our ambitions. Currently, our overhead is small, which allows us to bring a 14 to 58-piece professional orchestra to venues and communities which are often underserved when it comes to the performing arts. But this model does limit our ability to achieve some of our goals.

As a group that has been operating as a “gig economy” organization before there was a gig economy, we know how to forge our own path. We would love your assistance in helping up grow and spread our message, bringing unique popular orchestral music to more performance venues throughout the country and into recording studios for projects that fit our sound and mission.

Below is a short but incomplete list of areas where your contribution would help:

  • Operations – finance, payroll, communication
  • Education – help us develop programs to produce clinics and educate music students in the communities we serve
  • Production – new stage equipment, personnel
  • Creative – new arrangements, collaborations
  • Marketing – developing collateral, media & PR
  • Fundraising – help us find and connect with more individuals and brands that believe in what we do
